Educational Background
Mr. Liao received his M.A. in Economics from Peking University in 1993, and his MBA from Judge Business School of Cambridge University in 2006.
Work Experience
Mr. Liao Min is the Vice Minister of Finance of PRC, positions that he has occupied since May 2018. Prior to that, he was Director-General of the International Economics Bureau at the Office.

Before joining the Office, Mr. Liao worked at the China Banking Regulatory Commission (CBRC) and served as Director-General of its Shanghai Office and the General Administration Department. Previously, he was Assistant General Manager at the Executive Office of the Bank of China, and Deputy Director of the Executive Office of China Everbright Group in Hong Kong.

In the early stage of his career, Mr. Liao worked at the International Department and General Administration Department of the People’s Bank of China (PBC).
